Day One - Gratitude for Movement

Daily Mindfulness: After this 30-minute practice,  I'd like for you to set a 5-day alarm for a random time.  This a going to be your daily signal to stop for a moment and be grateful for someone or something around you.

Please note:  You will need to watch the video to know when to change sides during the pigeon pose.  Unfortunately, the microphone wasn't working at that point.

Day Two - Gratitude for Stillness

Daily Mindfulness:  When you hear your alarm today, I'd like you to find time in your day to consciously put down all devices and take a moment to be still and become aware of your surroundings in an active place.  It could be standing in line at the store, sitting in a coffee house, or waiting at a stop light.  Can you be still while being in a place of movement and take in the experience of life without having to do anything?

Day Three - Gratitude for Your Body

Daily Mindfulness:  When you hear your alarm today, I'd like for you to pause and experience one thing your body does for you naturally which you are grateful.  It could be walking a block being aware of each step, watching a bird fly overhead, or listening to the sounds of the world around you.

In addition , I invite you to do something today to celebrate your body as you would a loved one.  A thank you for being you.  It could be getting a massage, buying some flowers, going for a quiet walk without devices, or dancing to one of your favorite songs.  Do the thing which means something to you.  The stronger the meaning.  The more powerful the gift.

Day Five - Gratitude for You

Daily Mindfulness:  When you hear your alarm today, I'd like for you to do one last thing for me...thank you for being you.  You committed to 5 days and you completed the 5 days.  Take a moment to acknowledge your body for the ability and your spirit for willpower.

And, finally, I ask one simple thing for this free offering.  I ask you contribute to your favorite organizations which helps make you and your world a better place.  An organization which protects, empowers and/or celebrates something or someone that means something to you.

Day Four - Gratitude for The World Around You

Daily Mindfulness:  When you hear your alarm today, I'd like for you to pause and take in the world around you.  Can you find gratitude for the Earth on which you live and its beautiful ecosystem which we are all lucky enough to be a part?  Because of this Earth, we have the remarkable opportunity to build homes, friendships, families and pursue dreams.  Because of this Earth, we have the opportunity to be human and experience this thing we call life.
